Word lengths greater than 12 results in a fairly large increase in computing requirements. On a Sun Enterprise Ultra 250, a run using word lengths of 13 and 14, for a sequence around 5000 characters, requires approximately 42 hrs. A run on all word lengths between 3 and 12 would take around half that (i.e. c. 1 day).
