19 Sep 2001: I found a major bug today in this code. Results obtained with any version of the code prior to this day are entirely incorrect. Basically what I did was to output the spline-fit climatology, not the anomaly. I'm really really sorry about this error. I posted an announcement on the comp.lang.idl-pvwave newsgroup informing the IDL community of this error.
